Chapter 5- I’m tongue tied and terrified of what I’ll say….

Zac’s P.O.V

I’m so stoked that she’s alright. I don’t understand how she got confused with where she is though. She looks so cute when she’s thinking. She’s got that look on her face like she want’s to say something but doesn’t know how. She’s about to…oh wait no she decided against speaking. Something’s definitely up.

 “Hey are you alright?” Well I think that’s the dumbest question I’ve ever asked, but all she does it look me in the eyes and let a small smile pass by her lips. I can’t help but smile but then her face changed.

 “Umm…well….I’m not exactly sure…” Something serious is going down. I’ve never seen her look so scared. I reposition myself a bit more upright making sure she’s still in my arms.

“You can tell me anything, you know that right?” she nodded in response.

“It’s just; I’m so damn confused…” Oh no, I hope she’s not breaking up with me. What did I do wrong? Shit…no…this can’t be happening…

“What about?” Please don’t say us, please, please, please!

“Well one minute I was taking a shower…and the next thing I know I’m in a porta potty two years into the future at Warped tour. I’m in a completely different country and everyone seems to know me like Patrick, William and Pete. And I’m staying in Paramore’s bus and you’re my boyfriend. I dunno how having a shower turned into being here in a matter of seconds…I just don’t understand what happened…” She trailed off looking terrified. I must admit she did sound nuts. I felt like laughing at first until I saw her face. Her eyes glistening with tears on the verge of spilling out. She was dead serious. I wonder if someone drugged her and it messed up her memory. If she can’t remember anything then something has to have happened. I felt her forehead; she doesn’t have a temperature so she’s not just delusional. I just dunno what to say.

“I know I sound nuts…I feel nuts. I just have no clue what’s happened and there are some things I kinda remember or at least feel. Like here with you, I don’t remember us being together but it feels right, feels like we’ve been together for a while in some way,” She gives me a half smile.

“Umm well I dunno what to…umm…do…its good you remember us, well kinda remember…I…umm” I’m HOPELESS. I’m not going to make her feel any better, man I’m such a douche sometimes!

“If this is to weird…” She cleared her throat. “I should just go…get out of your way” She spoke soft and I could see a tear creep out of the corner of her eye. She shuffled out of my grip on her and stood up. She went to walk away, not even looking back. What the hell am I doing just watching her?! She’s not a T.V show damn it!

“KELLY WAIT!” I stood up and grabbed her arm and spun her around. Her head was down and I could see her tears falling to the ground and staining our cheap tour bus carpet. I lifted her head up with my hand under her chin making her look at me. A tear trickled down her check. I wiped it away with my thumb before it joint it's friends on the floor. Looking into her eyes, I know she’s scared shitless. It’s breaking my heart like never before. I grab her hand and pull her in for a hug, wrapping my arms around her tightly. She lets it all out, tears staining my red shirt. I comb my fingers through her hair, now all I have to do is figure out what to do next.
